Shakira Gerard Pique Welcome Son Sasha

Shakira‘s future soccer team just gained a new member.

The singer welcomed her second son with longtime love Gerard Piqué on Thursday Jan. 29, she announced on her website.

Joining 2-year-old big brother Milan, the couple’s newborn baby boy, Sasha Piqué Mebarak, was born at 9:54 p.m. in Barcelona.

“The name Sasha is of Greek and Russian descent and means ‘defender of mankind’ and ‘warrior,’” the birth announcement reads. “The hospital confirmed that both mother and child are in excellent health.”

Following weeks of pregnancy rumors, the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer, 37, confirmed she and her FC Barcelona soccer player boyfriend were expanding their family.

“Yes, we are expecting our second baby!! Thank you for all your well wishes,” she shared on Facebook in August.

The mom-to-be and Piqué managed to keep the sex of their second child a secret — until Shakira’s parents spilled the beans while visiting the future family of four in Spain. “Yes, another little boy. A playmate for Milan,” they told Hola! magazine

Ryan Adams and Mandy Moore Are Divorcing

It’s over for Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams.

Nearly six years after the duo tied the knot, Adams, 40, filed for divorce from Moore, 30, PEOPLE confirms.

The duo pulled off an under-the-radar wedding in March 2009 in Savannah, Georgia, just four weeks after announcing their engagement.

Last March, the couple presented a united – and goofy – front as they celebrated their fifth anniversary with pals including Minka Kelly.

“Celebrating love w the greatest friends and family last night. Feeling incredibly grateful today,” Moore wrote on her Instagram page, captioning a shot that featured the men in ’50s attire and the women donning funny hats.

The week prior, Moore shared a photo of their marriage certificate. “The best five years….” she wrote.

The couple, who collaborated on his self-titled album last year, have always been private about their relationship.

Explaining why he cut an interview short last fall after being asked about Moore, Adam explained: “I’m a private person and I’ll be a gentleman and say I’m not talking about my marriage ever. I’ll never talk about it. Ever.”

Patrick Dempsey and his wife, Jillian Fink, are divorcing after 15 years of marriage.

“It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage,” the couple tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. “Our primary concern remains the wellbeing of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family’s privacy at this very sensitive time.”

Dempsey and Fink have three children: Tallulah Fyfe, 12, and twins Sullivan Patrick and Darby Galen, 7.

The Grey’s Anatomy star, 49, was in Daytona Beach, Florida, for a 24-hour racing event when his wife filed for divorce. “She was the one to encourage me to go and drive,” Dempsey told PEOPLE in 2007.

“Her influence was profound. Jill just gets me to believe in my dreams – and act upon them,” he said at the time.

Hayes MacArthur and Ali Larter Welcome Daughter Vivienne Margaret

Welcome to the world, baby girl! Ali Larter welcomed her second child, a baby daughter, with her husband Hayes MacArthur last week, the actress announced on her website on Monday, Jan. 19.

“It’s a girl!” Larter, 38, wrote in her post, which included a darling photo of her newborn daughter sleeping peacefully as she’s bundled up in a blanket. “We couldn’t be more excited to share news of the arrival of Vivienne Margaret MacArthur on Thursday January 15th 2015.”

Baby Vivienne joins her 4-year-old big brother Theodore, whom Larter lovingly included as part of her daughter’s birth announcement. “She came bearing gifts for her brother,” the Diabolical star wrote. “Batman sheets and lots of Gummy Bears!!! 7.5 lbs of love.”

Larter revealed she was pregnant again last August, debuting her baby bump during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Several weeks later, the pregnant Heroes alum showed off her burgeoning baby bump in a bikini snap while vacationing with Hayes.

Us Weekly spoke with Larter that same month at a Pampers event in NYC, where she spoke in detail about her second pregnancy and little Teddy’s latest milestones.

“We’re not going to find out,” Larter told Us at the time about the baby’s gender. “It’ll be a surprise.”

She joked to Us that she was somewhat-behind on the baby prep. “The second time does not get the [same] attention as the first,” she said with a laugh. “That’s for sure.”

While little Vivienne was in her womb, Larter and Hayes tried to explain to their boy what was happening with her changing body.

“We’re helping him understand that his little baby brother or sister is growing inside my belly,” Larter told Us. “So he’s a little gentler with me, but he does get interested. Sometimes he doesn’t care, he’s like, ‘Mom I don’t care what it’s saying,’ and other times I’ll be like, ‘Teddy it’s talking to you.'”

Snuggled up to her husband, 37, on a white couch, the bride appears to have kept her look simple for her big day.

DMX Announces New Album ‘Redemption of the Beast’

On January 13, DMX will release his eighth studio album, Redemption of the Beast. The follow-up to 2012’s Undisputed will be available at iTunes, Amazon, and physical retailers via indie label Seven Arts Music.

The 16 tracks, which can be previewed on Amazon, include the single “It’s Goin’ Down,” with appearances from Freeway, Rampage, and Jannyce.

According to a press release, you can expect to hear “X’s signature heavy-hitting, fast-paced lyrics, classic Ruff Ryder beats, and moments of reflection on his experience in the rap game.”

DMX can also be seen playing himself in Chris Rock’s comedy Top Five, while his 1998 hit “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem” is featured on the film’s soundtrack.
