Chad’s got a new lady in his life! Chad Michael Murray is now dating Australian actress and model Nicky Whelan. The former One Tree Hill star revealed the new relationship on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
“I am a lucky lucky man. Blessed 2 feel the way I do with @NickyWhelan!” the actor wrote via Twitter. “I hope each of u feels the same in ur world!” Alongside the caption, Murray shared a black and white photo of the pair passionately kissing.
The Left Behind costars, both 32, made their debut as a couple just one day earlier at the Lucky Brand Flagship Store opening event in Beverly Hills, Calif. “They [were] very touchy with their arms around each other and holding hands,” an eyewitness reveals to Us Weekly. “They are definitely head over heels.”
The insider adds: “The two seem very comfortable together and were finishing each other’s sentences.”
A rep confirmed to Us in September that Murray and girlfriend Kenzie Dalton ended their seven-year engagement earlier this year. The two first met when the blonde hunk starred as Lucas Scott on One Tree Hill and Dalton, 25, played a cheerleader extra.
Murray was previously married to his OTH costar Sophia Bush, who played Brooke Davis on the CW teen drama. The two tied the knot in April 2005 after two years of dating, but Bush, 31, filed to have the marriage annulled five months later. She was instead granted a divorce.
