Sorry, Watson. Sherlock has a new partner in crime! British star Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie Turner have welcomed a baby boy, Us Weekly confirms. The couple did not release their son’s name.
“Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son,” the actor’s rep, Karon Maskill told Us. “We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during these next few precious weeks.”
The Oscar nominee wed his then-pregnant fiancee on Valentine’s Day this year after the couple announced Turner’s pregnancy in January.
When asked in 2013 what he looks for in a woman, The Imitation Game star replied, “A woman who knows that she doesn’t have to get all decked out to look good is sexy. A woman who can make you feel smart with her conversation skills is also sexy. I believe the sense of humor is important. I also think someone who is good at working with others is sexy.”
