Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson Welcome a Daughter

Ashlee Simpson Evan Ross welcome daughter

It’s a girl!

Ashlee Simpson welcomed her first child with her husband, singer and actor Evan Ross, on Thursday, July 30, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

The singer and actress, 30, and Ross, 26, celebrated the pending arrival of their baby girl with a whimsical baby shower at sister Jessica Simpson‘s home in June.

“Daddy @realevanross and my brother @rossnaess. It was an amazing night. #babyshower,” the mom-to-be captioned a photo of her sitting on a moon cut-out under a sky of hanging stars.

The couple announced they were expecting a baby together in December — and told PEOPLE exclusively in February that it was a girl! But despite already being mom to 6½-year-old son Bronx Mowgli, Simpson admitted everything felt like a whole new experience.

“I think that no matter what, with every child it’s different. It feels new to me too, and it’s been six years, so I’m like, ‘Here we go! We gotta learn how to get the swaddle on again!’ ” she joked to PEOPLE in April.

While Ross doted on his pregnant wife with “massages, cooking — all of that!” Simpson said, the future father was also soaking up plenty of quality time with Bronx.

“It’s amazing. I can’t even tell you how incredible that child is — he’s unbelievable!” said Ross. “He’s been a blessing in my life and I’ve learned so much from him.”

One thing the proud parents-to-be wouldn’t discuss? Possible names for their daughter. After telling The Wendy Williams Show in February that they would steer clear of fruit-inspired ideas, Ross and Simpson ultimately decided on a “unique” — but meaningful — name.

Bobbi Kristina Brown Dead at Age 22

Bobbi Kristina Brown

On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, tragically passed away at the age of 22. Her death came almost six months after she was found — in circumstances eerily similar to her mother’s death — unconscious in her bathtub on Saturday, Jan. 31, by her longtime partner Nick Gordon. Bobbi Kristina was placed in hospice care on Wednesday, June 24, after months of treatment in a medically induced coma. She was surrounded by family and friends at the time of her death.

Bobbi Kristina’s family has remained by her side throughout the ordeal. After spending over two weeks in a coma, doctors performed a tracheotomy in February, to help stave off infection from her breathing tube while she continued to fight for her life.

“Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family,” the Houston family tells Us Weekly in a statement. “She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

As previously reported, police confirmed to Us that the entire case surrounding her death is being treated as a criminal investigation following unexplained markings on her body. Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, was questioned in regard to the circumstances surrounding her death. He also appeared on Dr. Phil in March, where his interview was quickly turned into an intervention after Gordon was clearly slurring his words and threatening his own life. He entered rehab soon after and left in April.

Born in 1993, Bobbi Kristina was the only child of the late Houston and Brown. The couple had a tumultuous 14-year marriage, tarnished by rumors of infidelity, drug use, and domestic violence. In a 2002 interview with Diane Sawyer, Houston famously declared, “Crack is whack,” adding she’d never do crack because it’s “too cheap.” The family appeared on the widely criticized 2005 reality show Being Bobby Brown. Houston filed for divorce in 2006 and in 2007 it was finalized. The “I Will Always Love You” singer — who won seven Grammys and sold more than 200 million albums in her storied career — was awarded custody of their daughter.

The shocking loss comes more than three years after Houston herself died at age 48 in the bathtub of her Beverly Hilton hotel room on Feb. 11, 2012.

Less than a month after her Houston’s death, Bobbi Kristina spoke with Oprah Winfrey about losing her mother, saying, “It comes in waves. One minute I could be laughing and happy, but then it will come over me. It’s my mom. I start crying, but then I hear her again, saying, ‘Come on, keep moving.'”

Bobbi Kristina expressed her desire to become a singer like her world-famous parents on the Lifetime reality show The Houstons: On Our Own, which aired for one season in late 2012.

Days before Bobbi Kristina was found in the bathtub, an insider tells Us Weekly that she got into a fight with her longtime love Gordon, whom Houston informally adopted when he was a teen.

The unconventional relationship, which Bobbi Kristina referred to as a marriage, was a controversial subject within the Houston family. Bobby Brown’s lawyer Christopher Brown released a statement on Feb. 3, saying, “To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon.” As a result of the controversial relationship, Bobbi was estranged from her father in recent years, a source tells Us.

The fight with Gordon led her to a darker place, according to sources. “She was depressed and very upset,” the insider explains. “Whitney’s death hit her harder than anyone will ever know.”

Following her hospitalization, Gordon was not allowed to visit the star. In a February statement to Us, Gordon’s lawyers expressed he had adamantly tried to be by her side. “Nick has been trying, privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively,” his lawyers told Us. “He has respected the family’s wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation. But he desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted.”

The investigation surrounding her death is ongoing.

Sienna Miller, Tom Sturridge Split

Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge

Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge have called it quits after four years together, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly.

“They were in a bit of a rough patch for awhile,” one insider close to the American Sniper actress tells Us of the couple, who started dating quietly in 2011. “Their schedules on top of raising a child started to get to them.”

Sturridge, 29, and Miller, 33, welcomed their daughter, Marlowe, in July 2012. In an interview with London’s Time Out magazine this past January, the actress was frank about the ups and downs of motherhood. “It’s a shock, of course it is,” she said. “Some people find it really easy, but for me I found it really hard.”

While speaking with Vogue in its January 2015 issue, she spoke more affectionately about parenting little Marlowe. “It was like, ‘There you are — that’s what I have been missing,'” she said of raising her first child. “Like we’re both in on something only we know. An amazing sense of being complicit with a little being.”

The Factory Girl star, interestingly enough, hinted at a possible split while discussing her role in Clint Eastwood‘s Oscar-nominated drama American Sniper. “I had a huge amount of empathy for Taya [the widow of Chris Kyle],” Miller told Time Out in the same interview. “To be going through motherhood on her own, not knowing whether her husband would survive every day, I can’t imagine how difficult that would be.”

Still, she spoke fondly about Sturridge in her Vogue cover story, describing the British hunk as a “grounded, intelligent, kind, and intact person.”

Earlier this month, the family went on vacation together in Formentera, Spain, where the actress showcased her lean bikini body.

Miller, who’s experienced her fair share of drama in her previous relationship with Jude Law, noted to the mag that it was “amazing to be around” her beau. “That’s the father of my child,” she gushed to Vogue. “There’s no drama.”

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis Are Married

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher Are Married
It’s a fairy tale come true for That ’70s Show fans: Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are married.

The stars tied the knot this weekend, a source tells PEOPLE. Reps have not yet responded to requests for comment.

Kutcher, 37, and Kunis, 31, met while playing love interests on the Fox sitcom, which ran from 1998 to 2006.

“My first real kiss ever was with him on the show,” she said in W magazine’s August issue, adding, “We all get movie star crushes. I’m marrying mine.”
But their romance didn’t really blossom until years later: The stars began dating in 2012, “got engaged” in February 2014 and welcomed daughter Wyatt Isabelle in October.

“It’s unbelievable,” the Two and a Half Men actor “told Conan O’Brien” in October of becoming a dad. “It’s the greatest thing on Earth.”

The couple spent months keeping fans guessing about whether they were married or not.

Kunis replied “Maybe” when Late Late Show host James Corden asked her if they had tied the knot in March, and Kutcher stirred the rumor pot by posting a Facebook message reading “Happy New Year” from “The Kutchers.”

This is Kunis’s first marriage and Kutcher’s second (his divorce from Demi Moore was finalized in November 2013).

Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Split After 10 Years of Marriage

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck

Ben and Jen no more. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have split after more than 11 years together. The couple’s announcement comes just one day after their 10th wedding anniversary.

“After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time,” the couple said in a joint statement to Us Weekly on Tuesday, June 30. “This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding.”

Affleck, 42, and Garner, 43, first met on set of 2001’s drama Pearl Harbor, and shared the screen once more in 2003’s Daredevil. They remained friends before going public as a couple at the Boston Red Sox’s opening game of the World Series on Oct. 23, 2004.

The Argo director proposed on the actress’ 33rd birthday in April 2005, and wed in a hush-hush Caribbean ceremony that June. They share daughters Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and son Samuel, 3.

Back in March, the Nine Lives actress revealed that the pair often take turns working so the other could be at home with the kids. “I’ve been home for a long time. It’s my turn and I’m going to go to work this spring,” she told reporters at a Beverly Hills event for her film Danny Collins. “I think I’ll work the spring and summer, maybe the fall too, as long as some of it’s at home.” (That month, Garner and Violet accompanied Affleck to his U.S. Senate hearing in Washington, D.C. He’s since been preparing for his role as Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and has been filming Suicide Squad in Toronto, Canada.)

Affleck and Garner walked their last red carpet together at the 2nd annual Save the Children Illumination Gala at NYC’s Plaza Hotel in November 2014. Most memorably, Garner supported Affleck during his stellar awards season for the drama Argo in 2013.

“I want to thank you for working on our marriage for 10 Christmases. It’s good. It is work but the best kind of work and there’s no one I’d rather work with,” Affleck said while accepting Argo’s Best Picture Oscar (his second following a Best Screenplay win for Good Will Hunting in 1997) in February 2013. “You have to work harder than you think you possibly can. It’s hard. But you can’t hold grudges. And it doesn’t matter if you get knocked down in life. All that matters is that you gotta get back up.”

Garner later reacted to the speech during an interview with The Telegraph. “I know Ben, I knew he meant it as the hugest, warmest compliment in the world,” she explained. “I think he was saying, ‘Look, what we have is really real and I value it above all and I’m in it with you and I know you are in it with me.’ That’s the way I took it.”

Affleck previously called off his two-year engagement to Jennifer Lopez in 2004. (The exes shared a laugh at the 2015 Oscars.) He also romanced Gwyneth Paltrow from 1997 to 2000. Garner split from Scandal’s Scott Foley in 2003 after two years of marriage, and later had a brief romance with Alias costar Michael Vartan.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Welcomes Second Child, Baby Boy

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Brian Hallisay

More to love! Jennifer Love Hewitt and Brian Hallisay have welcomed their second child together, Us Weekly can confirm. The couple’s baby boy, Atticus, arrived on Wednesday, June 24.

Us broke the news in January that Hewitt and the hunky Revenge actor, both 36, were expecting baby No. 2. The couple’s new addition now joins big sister Autumn James, 19 months.

The Criminal Minds actress opened up about her “magical” second pregnancy in the May issue of American Baby magazine. “I’m grateful. It’s not lost on me what a gift it is to be able to get pregnant,” she said at the time.

“I’ve been an actress for 25 years, and have had to be hungry at times for my career, so being pregnant is completely freeing,” she continued. “When I was expecting Autumn, I ate everything I saw! I told myself, ‘Oh there’s a doughnut — I should have that.’ Now with this second pregnancy, I know the baby really doesn’t ‘need it.’ So I eat healthy foods in general, but I also indulge in little things that I crave.”

Hewitt, who secretly wed Hallisay in 2013, also dished about embracing her new figure. “Your body changes so much, and there’s a sensuality about that.” She quipped: “I say accentuate the fact that your legs look thinner than they ever have, and your boobs look great: Work it!”
