There’s a new resident in town! Milla Jovovich and her husband Paul Anderson have welcomed their second child together, Us Weekly can confirm.

The couple’s daughter Dashiel Eden arrived on Wednesday, April 1. She weighed in at 7 lbs., and 10 oz.

The Ukrainian actress-model announced back in August that the couple were gearing up for baby No. 2. At the time, she also revealed that her pregnancy would delay their upcoming film Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.

“â€¦We want to make the best movie possible and that would be extremely difficult, to say the least, in my present condition. I would like to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has been working so hard on the movie in South Africa already and we are so looking forward to working with you all next summer,” she tweeted on Aug. 18. “And when we arrive, it will hopefully be with the newest member of our little family! YAY!”

Jovovich, 39, first met the producer, 50, when he directed the original Resident Evil movie in 2002. They married in 2009 and have worked on the franchise together ever since. Their little girl now joins big sister Ever, whom they welcomed in November 2007.

“I was actually worried if we had a boy, what would happen to him. I was like, ‘I wonder how long he will survive in our house with that little girl pushing him and sticking her foot out and tripping him!'” Jovovich joked to Us at the 2014 amfAR L.A. Inspiration Gala in October.

“We’re giving birth to Cinderella, pretty much,” she added, noting that Ever wants to give the baby her hand-me-downs. “She’s like, ‘We don’t need to buy her anything, Mama. She can just wear all of my old clothes. She doesn’t need anything!'”

Milla JovovichÂ doesnâ€t mess around with her to-do list: sheâ€s pregnant!

After recently saying she wasÂ focused on expanding her family, the actress announced on Monday that she and her husband, director and producerÂ Paul W.S. Anderson, are expecting theirÂ second child.

Her Facebook announcement comes as many fans eagerly await another installment ofÂ Resident Evil â€” a role thatÂ has now been put on the back burner.

â€œSo after a lot of discussion, we thought it would be in everyoneâ€s best interest to wait till the baby is born before we set out to try and tackle an RE movie,â€ Jovovich, 38, writes. â€œBetween the stunt work and what will become my ever-expanding belly, we didnâ€t think pregnancy and zombie killing are the best combo!â€

The mom-to-beÂ jokes, â€œI imagine the only thing Iâ€ll be killing in the near future is an endless supply of cupcakes.â€

Jovovich and Anderson, 49, are already parents toÂ Ever Gabo, and with their firstborn getting older, the actress was determined to make their 6Â½-year-old daughter a big sister soon rather than later.

â€œI want to have a baby and that is my number one priority. If I donâ€t do it now, it will get more difficult the older I get,â€ she told Hello! magazine. â€œI have to do it before [Ever] is too old to enjoy it. I donâ€t have all the time in the world to think about it.â€
