Itâ€s a good thing: Justin Timberlake is going to be a dad!

The “Itâ€s Not a Bad Thing” singer is expecting his first child with his wife, actress Jessica Biel, he confirmed on his birthday Saturday.

“Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, Iâ€m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CANâ€T WAIT,” he captioned an Instagram photo of himself kissing Bielâ€s pregnant belly in the snow.

“#BoyOrGirl #YouNeverKnow #WeDontEvenKnow #WeAreTakingBets”

Although the couple have kept quiet on pending parenthood, Timberlake did give fans a glimpse at a sweet scene with Biel recently, sharing a snapshot of the two enjoying a quiet moment on the New Zealand coast.

Timberlake was overseas on his two-year 20/20 Experience world tour, which he brought to a close with two New Yearâ€s shows in Las Vegas.

The musician, 34, and Total Recall star Biel, 32, celebrated their second wedding anniversary in October, after tying the knot in 2012 during a romantic ceremony in Italy.

In December 2013, the actress told PEOPLE she was looking forward to having a family with Timberlake — but still debating when exactly that would be.

“Iâ€m not sure about sooner or later. But definitely at some point,” she said.

The timing turned out to be perfect: Biel is opening her first family-friendly restaurant, Au Fudge, this year in Santa Monica.
